This is a place time has passed by and it is still like the China of old, here you will see the people working the rice paddies and water buffalo drinking at rivers edge. This is a look back in time at the serenity of rural Chinees life as we sail on to the heart of the Li River valley and the town of Yang Shuo which dates back to the Sui Dynasty. Here we get a glimps of rural life in China away form the hustle of the big cities and what has become the commerce of China. The people of the Li River valley do not live much diffirently than there grandparents did. The outside world has had little influence on this valley. It is our hope to return here and stay longer and explore more before time catches up.
