One hundred and two years and still going strong is the Portland Rose Festival. Every year starting now on the last weekend of May and running for three weeks the City of Portland opens it’s self to visitors form all around the world to celebrate with us the beauty of the “Rose”, and the city does it in grand fashion with events form the Star light run and parade, auto races, Rose flower shows and fleet week when the U.S. Navy and the Canadian Navy and U.S. Coast Guard all send ships to visit the Port of Portland. The city is busy and full of visitors. You should come and see it at least once in your life.
